Come join us at Oaklands Mansion for a lovely evening of watching the lightning bugs, talking about the grounds & wetlands, sipping some refreshing lemonade, listening to music and shopping for art.
The mansion will be open for self-guided tours, staff members will be available to answer questions
Joining us this year is special guest Wren Lawson. Wren is a student at MTSU studying organismal biology and ecology. Entomology has always been her passion and she has worked in her campus’s insect collection for the past four years. Wren loves educational events such as Lightning Bugs and Lemonade that allow people to learn about the fantastic insects in Murfreesboro and beyond.
